  • Classroom Pets and Life Cycles

    Thank you so much for donating to our Classroom Pets and Life Cycles project! We have made amazing experiences this year!

    The Glo fish tank is a show stopper! They love watching the fish and volcano in the tank.

    We just hatched our first set of chicks! What an amazing experience! We are so excited to set up the ant farm and ladybug habitat.

    Our class has loved every bit of of what we received from this project. From observing our turtles, gecko, fish , and watching the chicks hatch from the eggs. They will remember this forever!”

  • Sensory Friendly Classroom

    Thank you so much for donating to our Sensory project! Our students were so excited to open the boxes as they came in!

    We started the year off with reading The Little Spot books as we made our classroom contract and talked about different character traits. Those book have been wonderful in teaching and helping the children understand emotions and how they can choose to respond. These books are a great teaching tool and resource to quickly grab as needed.

    The sensory tools have been used in many ways! They have been an instant calming tool for children both sad and angry. They have helped my students regain their control to have a successful and positive day.”

  • Hands-on Learning and Active Minds

    All of these materials have made a huge impact in our room. The students are excited about independent learning time and love to partner with a friend to work together. We have loved using the stem learning bins! We got creative and made haunted houses and turkey hideouts with the stem building bins. All the children love the learning locks and word building games too! They are go to games that they choose every day! Thank you for helping us make leaning more fun!”

  • Clean Air for Healthy Bodies

    The air purifiers have been a blessing in my classroom. When the air purifiers came in I explained to my students how they would help us stay healthy and keep our air clean. They immediately understood the value of them because they know if they are well they can come to school and won't have to learn virtually.

    The air purifiers are working!! Since having them running in the classroom we have not had any illness other than a common cold, the room smells good and there is less dust.

    We are so thankful for the donations for the air purifiers, especially with the ongoing global pandemic. Thank you from all in our KA kindergarten class!”

  • Hands on Learning

    Thank you all so much for your generous donations! My students were so excited to get the all of the new manipulatives and learning games! They could not wait to use them! We opened the box immediately and started exploring! They are using them every day independently and with their groups!

    The children are enjoying using the manipulatives daily! They are helping with math, reading, sorting, building, and sharpening fine motor skills as well as hand to eye coordination. My students not only use them during our structured learning center time but also during their free choice centers. We are so grateful for your donations so we could get these items.   • Wiggle Wobble Cushions

    Funded Jan 1, 2019

    Thank you all so much for your generous donations! My students were so excited to get the wobble cushions and ball seat! They could not wait to use them! I inflated the cushions with different amounts of air to offer more sensory options.

    The children like to sit, kneel, wiggle and squirm on the wobble cushions while getting tasks completed. They also use the seats while they are reading doing independent activities at the table. The ball seat gets used while students are doing activities at the teacher tables. The children are more focused now they can wiggle while working.

    These cushions have allowed my students the flexibility of movement without being distractive. They have made our working environment more focused with positive energy. Thank you so much for donating to our classroom! ”

I love kindergarten!! My students are very curious, wiggly, active and eager to explore and learn! We are in a Title 1 school with a great deal of diversity and many English language learners.
