  Thank you for donating to our project titled "We The People." As a result of your donation six students each semester for the next few years, will save around $100 each by using this book instead of renting and buying it. More students in Nevada will have an affordable option to take PSC 101, a required college class for all students in Nevada.

  I and my students will be forever grateful for this donation. There should never be a time when money gets in the way of students receiving an excellent education!”

• Start The Year Off With A Proper Footing!

  Thank you for donating to our project, "Start The Year Off With A Proper Footing!" Students have been using their spikes and cross-country shoes at practices and have been running fast.

  When students first saw the shoes they were excited to have their first pair of spikes and they were also surprised that there were no strings attached! Students couldn't wait to get running.

  Thank you for donating to our project, "Run First to the Finish." Students have been using their spikes at practices and running fast. Students are excited to wear them at our first meet tomorrow!

  When students first saw the spikes they were really excited to have their first pair of spikes and they were also surprised that there were no strings attached! Students couldn't wait to get on the track and tie up their spikes.

• Survive the Heat to Reach the Finish

  Funded Jan 28, 2022

  Thank you for donating to our project. Because of your donation, we were able to ensure student-athletes stayed cool in the hot heat during our outdoor track and field season. Further, the other equipment helped our student-athletes stay flexible and relaxed.

  When students first saw the canopy and helped set it up, they were happy to find some shade as the sun was glaring down at us. Students were able to notice that they were fresher when it came time for their races.

• Create Nevada's Next Generation of Leaders!

  Thank you for donating to "Create Nevada's Next Generation of Leaders" which supplied a number of AP U.S. Government and Politics review books to students within my classroom.

  Students were excited to receive these new review books and bring them home to work on gaining additional knowledge that will help my students gain a stronger understanding of how our political system works here in the United States.

  When students received these review books they thought they were birthday presents from someone in our class that was celebrating their birthday that day. Although that wasn't the case, it was still an amusing thought! Thank you again for supporting our class.”

• Listen Up to Personal Finance!

  Thank you for donating to this project and being adaptable during COVID. Things are slowly looking more normal in our class and one thing that has particularly helped has been the upgraded sound. Our Samsung soundbar has helped create crisp and clear sound from all corners of our socially distanced classroom.

  Students were impressed when they saw this new piece of technology. No longer do we have students saying they can't hear the videos!

  Your donation for the soundbar and the other economics-related materials will help ensure our students are prepared for the real-world as it awaits them in only a couple of months! Thank you.”

• Jump High for Success

  As our track and field season comes closer to starting, our students are getting prepared to jump higher and run faster. The j/fit Plyometric Jump Box allows our students to practice jumping higher and building strength to run faster. When the j/fit Plyometric Jump Box first arrived, students were excited to try it out. Many students got a taste of reality using them for the first time, but they are excited to become better at them.

• Sprint Fast With Spikes

  Thank you for donating to our project, "Sprint Fast With Spikes." Students have been using their spikes at practices and running fast. Many students were surprised to find how much faster they can run with spikes!

  When students first saw the materials they were really excited to have their first pair of spikes. Receiving the spikes in the box and wrapped up was like getting a birthday present. Students couldn't wait to get on the track and tie up their spikes.

  Tomorrow will be our first official meet of the year and our students will be prepared with proper footwear. Because of your donation, our students will be ready to go tomorrow! Thank you again.”

• Run for Gold!

  Funded Nov 25, 2019

  Thank you for contributing to our project, "Run for Gold." Because of your generous donation, our students have the training and safety equipment to be successful and safe. The training equipment, the agility ladder, parachutes, and throwing implements have helped train our students while the Rubbermaid tank and thermometer are helping to ensure our students are safe as the weather gets warmer.

  When our students first saw the new equipment they were pretty excited. We took the parachutes out when it was particularly windy and the students loved it!

  As we move throughout the season we look forward to using the gear more and more often, while also hoping that the heat-related equipment isn't used, but readily available. Thank you again for supporting us!”

• Support Our Financial Literacy Gains!

  Thank you for donating to our class project! Students have been using the subscriptions to The New York Times Upfront, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Forbes to build a stronger concept of personal finance and money management.

  When students first got the subscriptions they weren't sure what to think. Students saw personal finance and money management as something only adults need to worry about. That perception has changed drastically as students are thinking how they can position themselves to be successful financially when they head to college and careers.

  As the year progresses, students will be doing more work with the articles and using them to delve deeper into personal finance and money management. These subscriptions will continue to play a pivotal role as we move forward with our curriculum. Thank you again for supporting us!”
