• Help Fill Our New Classroom Play Space!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. My students are so excited each time we receive a box of goodies from Donor's Choose! They love opening them up to see what surprises are inside! These materials have helped during this unprecedented year of learning we have had. My kindergarten students are always so eager to learn & the best way to teach the is to use "hands on" materials. This funded Donor's Choose project helped to provide me with plenty of the resources I needed to make these materials for my students. Thank you again for all you do to help students succeed.”

• Hungry Kids Cannot Learn!

  My students were so excited when these giant boxes were delivered to our classroom! We opened them up to find SO MANY different snacks!

  100% of the students in our school qualify for free lunch & breakfast daily. My kindergarten students eat lunch every day at 10:45am. By the end of the afternoon my little babies are starving again. I give them each a snack daily to help them get through their bus ride home.

  With a class full of 25 students, a package of snacks goes quickly when they each get one a day! This project helped keep me from buying snacks out of my own pockets or asking parents to buy snacks for the class when they may not be able to afford them.

• Spreading Our Wings & Watching Butterflies!

  Your donations to this project brought so much joy & a wonder to our classroom! When the caterpillars arrived in their cup my students were just ecstatic!! We made journals & patiently checked their growth every single day. It was so much fun to watch the students arrive at school & run to the butterfly cage first thing every morning. Once the caterpillars formed their cacoons we put them in the cage & excitedly watched them hatch into butterflies! It was so magical to experience with the students. We let them go outside on the playground & cheered as the flew away into freedom!”

• Comfy Seating for Little Readers!

  THANK YOU for your generous donation to our classroom! We received four comfy reading seat for us to use. We have two of these in our library center to relax in while we enjoy a wonderful story. We have the other two chairs in our tablet center. The students are able to recline in them while they work on their online assignments. They love these chairs & have taken such good care of them. They are so brightly colored & inviting for young children so they fit in perfectly with our classroom decor in our Kinder classroom! Thank you again for such generosity!”

• Building Our Imaginations With STEM!

  We are so grateful for our new STEM materials!! My students were SO EXCITED to open the boxes when they arrived at the school! They were squealing with happiness when they saw the boxes were full of building toys like leggos, magnatiles, & blocks galore! My students love using their imaginations & creating all kinds of things with the various STEM materials in our classroom.

  These materials have come in handy during our math unit over 2D and 3D shapes. They have been able to build various shapes using the magnatiles. It is so fun to watch them learn! Thank you for giving us this opportunity.”

• New Furniture Hooray!

  I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donations to our brand new classroom this year! We now have a beautiful new bookshelf to hold all our books in our library center. We also have pots & pans to fill our kitchen living center. We have bins to hold all our magnatiles, blocks, & leggos in our STEM center. Our new classroom looks so fabulous & well organized thanks to your support! This has been such a rough year for students as well as for us teachers.   Thank you for providing the snacks for my students and for understanding that a child who is hungry is a child who cannot learn. I appreciate you taking an interest in my students educational needs.

  Our community has been through quite a bit over the past three years. Parents and students are struggling to get through the normal day to day tasks of family and school. Just the simple act of providing snacks for children as they go home each day makes a huge impact on a child's life.
