  • Including and Engaging Students During Lunch

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your help with getting this project fully funded. Your donation has helped my students to feel better about taking part in lunch time activities with the wooden games of connect four, the jenga blocks and the other table games that we had on our project.

Another thing that we are working on building is a College Going Atmosphere. One way that we do this is by posting college flags and college pennants around the campus. In our project, we requested a couple of college and university flags that came through. Students are getting excited about visiting these colleges in the upcoming months.

Again, thank you for your donation. It is people like you that encourage educators like me to continue to put these projects together. I appreciate your donation and hope that you are able to continue to help with fully funding these projects.”

  • Feeling Included in a Special Manner

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you so much for helping me get this project fully funded. It is always a challenge to make sure that ALL students feel included in school and in different activities that are held at school. Putting these project together helps me to provide incentives that will encourage them to take part in activities and also helps me to help them feel included and part of the student body. It is amazing people like you that encourage educators like me to continue to put these projects together for students to succeed.

Please know that your donation is greatly appreciated. I always like to make sure to share with students when we do get a project fully funded. This goes a long way and it is really appreciated. Thank you again and please continue to support our students in our schools.”

  • Feeling Included

    Funded Jan 11, 2023

Thank you so much for helping fully fund this project. Doing this project was so much fun and has helped uplift school spirit while ensuring to include all students in the fun. Students helped put together the backdrop that is kept in the cafeteria and they take pictures with such great smiles. We then post these pictures on our social media and have also included some in our school yearbook. During our Coffee Hour with parents, they have come in and also taken pictures and shared those images with us. The paint and markers that we got doing this project has helped our Leadership students take more pride in their poster making abilities and their work shows.

It is people like you that inspire people like me to continue to do these projects. Thank you for being a part of this and please continue to support these projects.”

  • Offering Support with Uniform Needs and Lunch Time Activities

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for helping fully fund this project. We will be using the Large Connect Four in the cafeteria during lunch to help students connect with each other and build stronger relationships with each other. We will use the polo shirts and hoodies to help those students that need the support with uniform so that they can be in class and not sitting at home or in the office because they do not have uniform. We are working hard to put together a closet that will allow students to go and get school supplies such as pencils, pens and notebooks. While putting this closet together we will also include hygiene items such as deodorants, toothbrush and toothpaste along with clothing items that students can take with them to have.

It is people like you that help educators like me to continue to put these projects together so that we can continue to support our students and help them feel success while they are here at school. It is my passion to support students in what ever manner that I can and putting these projects together is one way that I am able to do so on a more regular basis. Thank you so much and please continue to support these projects as they help many students across the nation.”

  • Sweaters, Socks and Snacks

    Funded Oct 17, 2022

Thank you so much for helping fully fund this project. The sweaters and socks have helped our students have something warm during these cold days. The replacement items of balloons have helped uplift school spirit being that our Leadership students have decorated the cafeteria for the holidays. Students and staff have stopped by to take pictures with their friends and coworkers for the holidays. Getting this project fully funded has also helped to show students that when you set your mind to getting something done it is possible but you need to put some effort into it. Thank you again for supporting our project and helping to get it fully funded.”

  • Positive School Culture and Interaction

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

A great BIG THANK YOU to each of the people who helped fully fund this project. These games will help build positive interaction during our lunch times. They will be kept in the cafeteria where all students can easily access them and use them when they are done with their breakfast and lunch. We will encourage students to use them and take care of them so that we have them for years to come and so that many other students can also enjoy them. We are so very appreciative of getting this project fully funded as it helps to demonstrate to students that when you set your mind to getting something done, it is very possible.”

Students that challenge themselves to take AP classes most of the time have in mind to pursue higher education. It is my duty as an educator to assist them in doing the best that they can not only in the class but also when it comes to the AP Exam. The novels that we selected are current authors that many of my students can relate with because they have heard of Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas being that both are of Mexican decent and either they or their parents have watched them on a daily basis broadcasting the news.
