In many schools, there tends to be a lack of focus on English language development, causing many ESL students to struggle academically. As a Title I school, we have limited funds to provide all our students with the proper materials to enrich their language education. My goal as a teacher is to provide my students (from grades K-6) with as many opportunities and resources to progress in their acquisition of the English language. My goal for these supplies is to allow my students and myself to interact with the language in a meaningful way. With five tablets of chart paper, three cases of copy paper, markers, stapler and other much needed supplies, my students will be provided with the activities, guides, worksheets, and anchor charts (posters) necessary to further their education both in content and language acquisition.
