• Help Me Become Slide Certified!

  I am forever grateful for your donations to this project. Attending the Ron Clark Academy was the best professional development I have ever had. We left energized, excited, and ready to see our students. I learned a lot while I was there. I saw several chants, learned new ways to engage my students, and how to teach students to take ownership of what they are saying. We have already implemented handshakes and standing while speaking into my classroom. The students have been practicing looking at each other in the eye. I was also excited to see that my home visits are important to students AND their families. I can not tell you how important is was to be able to visit this school. I can not thank you enough for helping me to get there!”

• New Books, New Excitement!

  Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom library. I chose several books that had female scientists and books that would work with a S.T.E.M. classroom or maker space. Both of those are so important to me and I am hoping with your donation of these books, they will inspire my students to love them as well. Newer hardback books are so expensive, but with your help I was able to refresh my library and add new and exciting texts, the students would love to read. I can not explain the excitement when amazon boxes come to our classroom. They get so excited and giddy because they know that our library is going to include new books for them. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. Your gratitude is immeasurable to myself and my students.”

• SumBlox for Some Math

  These sumblox are amazing! I would have never been able to afford them without your help! My students have been building all kinds of math problems. They are starting to see relationships with doubles facts and other addition problems. Some of my students are even building multiplication problems. These blocks have helped with students that are tactile learners. It has also promoted conversation between students, which is important for them to learn. I cannot tell you how much we love these blocks. With your help, you have made our group time a little more fun and hands on. Thank you so much from all of us!”

  I had forgotten how much I LOVE Scholastic and Time for kids newspapers. I am so thankful that you helped me get these for my students. Not only are they learning about current events, it is on a level that they can understand. My students are loving these magazines. We have discussed text features and nonfiction texts. They give my students another type of nonfiction text to read as well. They get so excited when a new set of magazines come for the month. I am so thankful that you chose to help my students. I would have never been able to purchase these on my own, so I am completely humbled and grateful for your help. Thank you again so much!”

• Creative Thinkers Needing a Makerspace/ STEM Station!

  Thank you so much for all of your donations! My students have enjoyed creating with all of the makerspace materials. Each Friday, I have given them time to explore the materials and build and construct. We also used some of the materials to make mother's day gifts. My students have been working on collaboration and creation with these materials. They LOVE this time of the day. We all couldn't be more thankful for your donations. Because of you, my students have had an amazing introduction to STEM and using a Makerspace!”

  Thank you SO much for your donations! Out technology has doubled thanks to you, and we get to experience so many more things because we have these chromebooks. The students love getting on them each day, and we are learning how to use the touchscreens to create things. They are the most popular center in the room!
