• Sports Books for Sporty Students!

  Thank you so much for your donations. With this project, I got to add two whole containers of sports books to my classroom library. My students have been enjoying them so much! It was a section that was missing and we desperately needed them. One particular student inspired me last year to find more sports books and I am happy to tell him that because of him and your donations, we have a whole new part of our classroom library. I honestly don't know how I could build my library without donors like you. Every penny counts and I am so thankful for your help completing this project!”

• New Year, New Books!

  It is so hard to explain how to teach children to love reading, but I just want you to know that it is so very magical. My students love to read because we have an amazing classroom library because of donors like you. I have build my library from the donations of amazing humans and lots of research and hard work. Students can choose any book on any level they wish. Throughout the year, I cultivate each child's love of reading by finding books on topics they love.

  With your help, I have been able to create the classroom library of my dreams. Every time I come back to Donor's Choose I am able to add another section to my library. Thank you so much for your donations. You truly make a difference each and every year!”

• Wordless Picture Books

  Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom. We are in the middle of our Wordless Picture book unit and my students are devouring the books that you helped us received. So far they have learned about different perspectives, making inferences and predictions, and character evaluation. I can see them growing as readers and choosing the books not because they are easy, but because they are more difficult.

  I cannot wait to see their creativity when they create their own picture book! You have helped us grow an entire new section of my classroom library and I will be forever thankful!”

• Wordless Picture Books

  I honestly wish you could spend a day in my classroom library. You would get to see some curious and happy students because of your donations! I am so very thankful for you and your donations to our library. My students have become enamored with Wordless picture books, and you helped fund a whole new section of my library that wasn't there.

  I created a whole new unit for my students based on the books that you supplied. The students had the best time. Not only that, but they learned how to infer, make predictions, and challenge their thinking. They debated each other, and had grand conversations. This was their favorite unit of the year. Thank you so much for your help with this. It would have never been possible, without your donations.”

  Thank you so much for your donations for our books. While opening the boxes, my students were so excited and could not stop looking at the books. Although check out looks a little different, the students are just as excited to check out the books as any year in the past.

• Diverse Books For Diverse Students!

  Thank you so much for the donations for these books. It was even sweeter to have these books when my students returned to school this year after the pandemic. They were so appreciative of new things and they had not seen these books before. I love that they can see themselves in the books they choose in my library, and you have helped make my library grow even more.

  I could never afford to do this on my teaching salary. Having you help me on donor's choose has drastically changed my classroom library and I am forever grateful. It is because of you that my students get to enjoy new books that were just published and books that have characters that look like them in them. We are so thankful and grateful.”

• New Strategies for a New Year!

  Thank you so much for these resources for our teachers and students!

  This past weekend, I was able to use these books to share with other teachers in our county. These books directly impact students. The teachers are having the best time working on lessons for the students to complete. My students love conferring over their writing topics after discussing the whole group discussion.

  These books help me plan my lessons, and create fun reading and writing lessons for them. We always start with an anchor chart or a book, then I teach the students the strategy for that day. They are getting so good at turning to talk to a partner about the strategies they see in their own books. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. These books have helped so many students in our school, however mine are especially grateful!”

• Let's Make Math Talks Fun!

  Thank you so much for making math talks fun! Each day, the students gather on the carpet as we discuss number strategies, mental math, and attempt new word problems. Not only have your donations allowed us to use a large rekenrek, but the donations also gave me, as the teacher, cards that I can use for my number talk lessons. It makes it much easier for me to plan and helps our time be more efficient. This kit also had some amazing posters that the students can use and reference. It is such an amazing asset to our daily instruction. Thank you so much for your generosity. You kindness does not go unnoticed. My students and I are forever grateful!”

• Kidney Table for Guided Reading Success!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students and I are loving the dry erase table. It has made such a difference in my reading and math groups. My students get excited to write on the table which makes them want to come to reading and math groups. They beg to go to the table every day! • Flexible Seating for Fantastic Students!

  I can not explain how much the students love these seats! Thank you so much for providing a comfortable sought after learning spot. The students are absolutely loving the couch. We all had to take a turn, because when our custodian delivered them, the students went crazy! Each student has had a turn on the couch and now we are on round two. You have helped us provide an adorable and functional item of flexible seating to our seating choices in our classroom.
