A majority of my students come from low income households. Many of them also leave school to go work until 11 PM, then do their homework and watch their siblings. They are all hardworking, motivated students, but they often have little financial stability. These supplies will help my students, in and out of the classroom. Online videos and images help to visually introduce material, but the ability to use hands-on materials greatly increases a student's ability to grasp a concept. These materials will help students do activities during class and learn in multiple ways. As a selective enrollment school, my students are making the decision to come to a school to push themselves academically. Even though it's a selective school, materials are still limited and students are in need of supports and supplies to aid in their education.

About my class
