I teach 3rd grade in a rural community. In these budget tight times, that everyone across America has faced, I am finding new ways to provide for my classroom, without breaking the banks of the parents of my students. Many of them work full time jobs, and do everything possible to provide the basic needs of their children. I feel that even in budget tough times, my students still deserve to do fun projects and activities in the classroom. They learn so much through hands on activities, and I will do everything possible to see that they continue to learn this way.
