BQJ Elementary School is nestled in the heart of East Texas with over 760 students from Pre-K to 5th grade, PPCD, and Life Skills. Our town is considered the oldest town in Texas. We service many underprivileged kids with the hearts of gold. Our students want to learn and grow, but often don't have the resources available to them to achieve this goal. My students are considered at risk and about 92% of our school receives free and reduced lunches and breakfast.
