Tech Tools Too!
Funded Jun 3, 2020Thank You! Possible rolling school closures, extended time away from having a teacher in front of them, and not being able to share technology due to covid guidelines make access to technology vital. Your gracious gift will help my students during these uncertain times by offering the opportunity to make the school/home transition smoother.”

Tech Tools!
Funded May 7, 2020We did it! You did it! I can not express adequately in words my emotions. These are hard times economically for all of us, and you have just reaffirmed the truth that was are in this together. Your gracious contribution will enrich the lives of some bright, eager, precocious young people.”

Readers Are Leaders!
Funded Nov 26, 2019Your generosity humbles me. The influx of independent reading materials your gift makes possible will inspire reluctance readers to embrace the written word. Kids who read more lead lives of enrichment, become facile writers and communicators, and grow in both heart and mind. I look forward to your gift helping me make leaders out of readers.”

Helping Brains Pop!
Funded Sep 9, 2019Thank you so much! Your gracious giving will liven up the lessons that my students are exposed too, thereby increasing engagement and leading to better outcomes. Thanks to you, my lessons will really "pop", and I can not wait to share the news with my class that we were funded!”

Happy Feet!
Funded Sep 27, 2018If there is one thing that I have learned over 17 years as an elementary school teacher, is that young bodies need to move. The fourth graders I am honored to share a classroom with are asked almost daily to do some pretty intensive academic work that requires them to be able to attend for large chunks of time. Your donation to the "Happy Feet" project helps these young scholars be able to move their bodies while writing an essay on what it means to have a great heart, or analyzing "The Red Wheelbarrow" by Carlos Williams, or tackling a tricky word problem. Because of the bouncy bands, the fourth graders of room 116 can stretch themselves academically.”

Touching the Heart Through Literature
