I started teaching at my middle school earlier this school year. My students are generally in the lowest percentiles for test scores. Living in a low-income area of Los Angeles, they have had little exposure to hands-on science activities. They are HUNGRY for science labs and activities and I try my best to make science fun and exciting for them. They are great kids who really want to learn and be successful in school and in life!
