It has been so much fun to watch students create their spirigraph designs. I don't know who's having more fun the students creating designs or me watching them. Thank you so much for helping make this project come through. My students love when they receive new items to add to the MakerSpace Lab. What a fun way to be creative. I used these with the kindergartners the other day and one of the kids told me they were going to have their parent buy them one that night. He even made me take a picture and send it to his mom.”

Thank you for supporting my students. They are having so much fun creating their own bookmarks in our MakerSpace. Watching them get excited and talk about the book that they were going to use their book mark with was adorable. The paper punches took a while to get the hang of (lining up the edges to make a continuous pattern) but a lot of my students got the hang of it after a few tries. I can't wait to make this a permanent station in our MakerSpace room. Your support of my students is greatly appreciated!”

Thank you so much for supporting this project. My students are already excited to be making hats (and our weather is just crazy enough they were ably to wear them the other day!). The yarn ball winder is amazing and I have been busy winding up loose yarn so that it can be stacked neatly on a shelf. The new crochet hooks came just in time for more students to join our spring club. Having these materials is a wonderful addition to our MakerSpace! I can't wait to see all of the things my students create during yarn club.”

Thank you so much for your support of the school library. Without your support I would not be able to continue to give students a new bookmark each time they check out a book. My students in all grades from prekindergarten through eighth grade love coming in to check out a book and select their new bookmark. Students often ask me for specific designs or characters. This set included some highly requested animals and blank ones for students to design there own. Thank you for providing these materials for my students.”

Thank you for supporting my students as they learn how to read. The Step Into Reading series of books provide them with books that are on just the right level for them to read. These step 3 books are perfect for the students at our school who are ready to read sentences with context clues. They provide them with content clues and vocabulary practice. As students continue to grow as readers these step 3 books provide books with characters they know and love and challenge them to decode and use context clues. Thank you!”
I am so excited to have added button making as a station in our MakerSpace. Students love coming to class and creating buttons. Even our preKindergarten students created buttons of their favorite book characters recently to wear during our celebration of Read Across America. Your support with funding this project has created opportunities for students to design and make their own buttons. I really appreciate your support and look forward to sharing our button maker with students in the future.”

Thank you for your gracious donations to provide my students with the final Sphero Bolt needed to complete our class set. Myy students love learning how to write code and see if they can command their sphero bolt to go where they want t to. They are getting ready to play mini golf by programing the Sphero Bolts. Your support in financing this project has given my students the opportunities to use these robots in class. Watching my students grow and learn is an amazing adventure. Thank you for your support.”

Thank you so much for your support of our Level 2 books for students. Having leveled books available for students to read supports learning. Many of our kindergarten students are transitioning into reading independently. These books allow students the opportunity to read books that are just right for them. I love watching students come into the library and select these books with confidence knowing that they will be successful in their reading. Thank you for your support in providing my students the perfect books!”

My students are so excited to come into the library and use our new listening station! The Tonies listening center is a favorite place to find our young readers. The characters are so adorable and the kids look forward to their turn to pick out which books they will be listening to during free choice time. Your support in funding this project means a lot to my students. Struggling readers have the opportunity to follow along with someone while being read to. Without you this loved center would not have found a home in our school library.”
Thank you so much for helping make this project come to life. It is so nice to have these containers to store our Cubetto robots in. The boxes they came in were just about destroyed and now I can keep the materials together and ready for students to use. I love that they snap shut and are big enough for all of the pieces. My students have been doing a nice job putting all of the materials in the plastic bins when they finish using them. Your support of our school library means a lot to my students!”

The students in my classroom love to learn! They are very busy and extremely creative! Being that our school is an urban school, we have students from all economic backgrounds. They appreciate items that many children have readily available to them.
