I am extremely grateful for your generosity and positive this project will have a tremendous effect in the engagements and desire to learn in my classroom. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me in enhancing my environment for my students to learn and feel comfortable.”

  • Sending Home Samsungs for Success

    Funded Mar 7, 2018

It is amazing the change of the engagement once you put a computer in front of a child. The use of these computers enables the students to watch videos to help through lessons, whether its math or ELA. They use the technology daily, in the classroom as well as at home. It has a tremendous impact on there enjoyment and desire of learning.

There has been a huge amount of increase in the desire to write with these computers. I am only hoping to receive more computers for the whole class to be able to use when the time allows it. Thank you so much for all of you donations and support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Pascale

My classes started using Google Classroom for education last year as a means acquiring knowledge, sharing information, providing feedback to each other, and extending thinking within the classroom walls. Students are understanding that writing is an art to be revisited over and over with pride and an open mind for revision and answers are available if they are willing to seek them out. Access to Chromebooks break down barriers that were once a hindrance to learning, such as not having enough books or the correct books. With Chromebooks, students can search and extend their thinking at their will, without barriers. After integrating the use of Chromebooks, students do extension projects and research without prompting or even the promise of extra credit. Chromebooks have promoted stronger self-motivation and student-centered learning.
