Thank you for helping us fund our project, "Fresh and Crisp Food." My students were thrilled to get an ice machine. They get ice for their drinks and use it to keep their food cool. Some students bring salad for their lunch or a fruit for a snack. They like to keep their lunch fresh using the ice. They also get a trade of ice to help keep their salad cool. Students are also learning about eating healthy in health and how to read nutrition labels to help them pick out fruits and vegetables at the grocery store. Again, thank you for supporting my students and donating to our project.”

Thank you our helping us fund our project, "Icy Cool Food." My students enjoy using the ice machine to keep their food cold. It has been very hot and they love to get ice to keep their drinks cool. Getting an ice machine for class has changed the climax and attitude of the students behavior. They take care of the machine and make sure it runs smoothly. My students also think it is very "cool" to have ice available for them at the tip of their fingers. We will cherish and keep good use of the ice machine for many years to come. Again, thank your for supporting my students.”

Thank you for helping us fund our project, "Let's Get Cooking." My students have been learning about nutrition and eating healthy. They wanted to learn how to cook simple and quick meals for their families to save money. One easy meal I taught them is to cook rice in our rice cooker. They simple needed to wash the rice, add water and press the start button to start cooking. They also learn how to make different types of salad to eat healthy. One student wanted to make orange chicken because it was his favorite food. I know my students find joy in cooking and I hope they will continue in the future. Again, thank you for supporting my students.”

Thank you so much for funding our project, "Our Garden Needs Some Love." My students are learning about the plants life cycle in science and how important plants play an important role in our environment. As part of the unit, we also tend to our school garden. They used the rake and hole to dig out the weed and loosen the hard dry soil. Our next step is to start planting vegetable when the garden bed is ready. My hope is for students to continue to tend to the garden when they have time during the school year. Again, thank you for your generous donation and supporting my students.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Visual Resources for our Calming Corner." The additional stools in our calming corner gave my students flexible seating when they need a break. It helps them to manage their emotions and make better choices when they get to get a break. After spending some time at the calming corner, students are also able to control their inner thoughts and feelings better. We all need a break from time to time especially when it gets too stressful. I also printed out many different emotion charts and activities to give them avenues to calm down. Again, thank you for your support.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Calming Corner Accessories." My students love the pillow cat. They squeeze the cat to find comfort when they need a break. They are even debating a name our our pillow cat. Some students find the sensory fidget tube to help them manage their emotions during stressful situations. They shake it and watch it settle. Our calming corner has become a place for students
to response positively to any challenge they face. Again, thank you for support my students.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Take Control in Our Calming Corner." My students love using the wobble chair when they are at our calming area in class. Throughout the day, students who need to a break or just a few moments to gather themselves can go to our calming place. It is a special place where they can reset and gather their emotions and thoughts before coming back to the class. They can draw, read a book or just sit to control their emotions. This is so important for them to have a place to clam down. Again, thank you for supporting my students.”
