Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Preparing for Middle School." Next fall, my students will be in a brand new school with a lot of kids. The campus will be bigger and they will have more than one teachers. I hope they will transition and adjust well in their new school and environment. I want my students to continue to try hard and always do their best. They will use these backpacks to carry all their school supplies and books. Again, thank you for supporting my students as they get ready for a new chapter in their lives.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Satisfy Their Hungry." These snacks came just in time for my students as they are hanging on the last few days of school. They have been through so much during the pandemic, and they deserve the best. They will be culminating elementary next week, and I have prepared goodie bags with different snacks for all of my students to enjoy. I hope this will bring some joy to them as they end elementary and move on to middle school. Again, thank you for your generous donation and for supporting my students.”
Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Digital Resources for Young Learners." Next year, I will be teaching a new grade and I need all the resources for my students to align with the standards and curriculum. I feel like a brand new teacher again. We will continue hybrid learning and continue to use technology to upload our work. The digital resources I have purchased will help ensure my students have equal access in all academic areas. Again, thank you for supporting my students and for your generous donation.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Expressing One Self Through Art." We have been on hybrid learning since April and many students are still feeling overwhelmed, stress and emotionally fatigue of school. This year has been a challenge for them and they needed to express their feelings. Some students chose to express it through art. Some students wanted to find a quiet place in the room or house to breath while others needed to squeeze a ball to relief their stress. What ever way students choose, they have options and it is fine. Thank you for your generous donation and supporting my students.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "More snacks on the Way." We have switched to hybrid learning this past month. Some students chose to stay home while other chose in-person learning. They are still adjusting to their new schedule. During the day, students need to concentrate and focus on their school work. I have bagged the snacks in bags for them to get as they head home. Many students also stay after school. Their day is very long and tiring. The snacks help fuel their brain and growling stomach. They are so thankful to have snacks in their backpack to enjoy. Again, thank you for supporting my students and for your generous donation.”
Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Outdoor Areas to Play and Work." The students love to go under the canopy to have a place to talk with their friends. They missed the social interaction with their peers. Since they can not play with their friends, they would take a book out, make puzzles or draw during recess. Students also enjoy going out to recess to move around and release their energy. It is so important for them to relax before it is time to sit still and focus again. Again, thank you for your generous donation and supporting my students.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Quench Our Thirst." The tumblers arrived today and my students were so excited to get one. The tumblers came in different colors so they choose their favorite color. Now that we are back in person learning, students must continue to follow safety measures to keep themselves and everyone safe. It has been a very challenging year for all of us, and we are looking forward to some normalcy. Again, thank you for supporting my students and for your generous donations.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "Mentoring Kids Garden." Our campus is still closed, but we have been learning about self care in our health unit. It is important to take care of one self. We will also learn about nutrition and the food groups. Once the students come back to campus we will be planting vegetables and tending the garden. I can't wait for them to get their hands dirty as they will need to pull all the weeds out from the garden bed and begin to plant. Spring is just around the corner, so this would be a perfect time to start gardening. The bench will also allow students to sit in the garden to enjoy their garden and each other company.”

Thank you for helping us fund our project, "Germs, Go Away!" We just started hybrid learning and need to sanitize our room to keep it clean and germ free. We do not want any students to get sick due to the spread of germs. The boys and girls used the disinfecting wipes to clean the surface of their work areas and tables. They also wipe their computer and face shield with the alcohol wipes. Students wore gloves while they disinfect their belongs and desk. We are just grateful to have cleaning supplies at our disposal and feel very safe when we are in class learning. Again, thank you for supporting my students.”

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project, "And the Award Goes to." My students have been more engaged with the incentive reward cards program. Their participation and engagement have gone up. Many students are also completing their assignments and homework. They also get rewarded for coming on time to Zoom and many don't want to end. As their teacher, I want them to learn as much as possible and also have fun. It has been difficult for students these past months. They are trying their best and a little rewards really help them continue to endure this difficult time. Again, thank you for supporting my students during this pandemic.”

I have 32 awesome students who can't wait to come to school everyday! We are a Title 1 school in a low socio-economic neighborhood. All my students are English Learners with no resources available at home. School is a safe place for many of my students where learning is a priority.
