  • Providing Meaningful and Differentiated Math Curriculum

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you for contributing to this project. Your support of our program enables our team to support students in learning. We have used the materials provided through this project to make a meaningful impact on our classroom community.

Teachers Pay Teachers has proven again and again to be a wonderful resource for accessing curriculum built for unique learners. I used these funds to purchase a math curriculum specifically designed for learners with Autism. The materials were easy to prepare and positively impacted our students' learning. We saw major academic growth in a short amount of time.

    Thank you for your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wood

  • Calm Classroom Lighting

    Funded Dec 15, 2022

Thank you for contributing to this project. Your support of our program enables our team to support students in learning. We have used the materials provided through this project to make a meaningful impact on our classroom community.

The harsh lighting in school classrooms can be a painful and disruptive component of school for students with Autism. We are constantly looking for ways to meet the diverse sensory needs of all learners in our program. These light covers changed the lighting in our room to make it a soft blue. Learners felt an immediate impact.

Thank you for your contribution to our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wood

  • Independent Work Stations

    Funded Oct 22, 2022

Thank you for contributing to this project. Your support of our program enables our team to support students in learning. We have used the materials provided through this project to make a meaningful impact on our classroom community.

Independent work stations are a necessary center in our academic rotations. They provide an environment for students to complete work at their skill level entirely independently. This work not only teaches life skills, but builds confidence in our learners. The organizers helped set up an environment that was welcoming. Additionally, they allowed us to create more materials that fit the needs of our students.

Thank you for supporting our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

  • Functional Fine Motor: Supporting Students in Cutting and Writing

    Funded Dec 23, 2022

Thank you for contributing to this project. Your support of our program enables our team to support students in learning. We have used the materials provided through this project to make a meaningful impact on our classroom community.

The introduction of these adaptive cutting and writing materials transformed the fine motor skills of many students in our classroom. The twist and write pencils were especially favored by both students and staff. As we advocate for more accessible learning environments, the introduction of new ways to write and cut are incredibly important.

Thank you for your support of our program!”

    Ms. Wood

    Funded Feb 5, 2023

Thank you for contributing to this project. Your support of our program enables our team to support students in learning. We have used the materials provided through this project to make a meaningful impact on our classroom community.

We used the purchases to transform our small group centers. Students were able to connect with the material. Staff felt more supported in their small group work. The majority of these resources were used to organize materials at our centers, which was a much needed resource.”

  • Fulfilling Sensory Needs

    Funded Mar 11, 2022

Thank you for your contributions to my classroom. Your donation has made such a measurable impact on our classroom community and we are so grateful.

Of all the items purchased through this project, the bubble tower aquarium is the biggest hit. Our students have loved looking at it every day, and discussing the different colors and movements it makes. Our chime has also been a huge hit, with our sensory seeking friends smiling and laughing with each tap of the instrument! COVID was difficult for all students, especially ours. You really helped give our students relief while adjusting to our new routine.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wood
