My classrooms are English Second Language classes servicing students in grades 9th-12th in a rural area of Louisiana. My class sizes average out at 9 students right now, but will continue to grow throughout the school year as new children arrive to our schools. They are all loving children who are eagerly trying to learn not only academics but our culture as well.
I am also the head Boys Soccer Coach, Color Guard Sponsor, and Bowling Team Coach at the school. The programs are slowly building, but we have great kids who work hard and love their sports. We are currently holding 39 players on the roster between Varsity and Junior Varsity for Soccer, 7 girls on the roster for Color Guard, and 9 kids on the Roster for Bowling! Not only do these sports improve the students physical abilities but it also makes them a part of something and teaches them about team work and responsibility.
