Funded Nov 11, 2022Our students had such an amazing time at our Holiday Inclusion Carnival! The event ran so smoothly and because of your donations we were able to have 8 game stations! Our students were able to earn tickets and head over to the price booth which had: snacks, sensory toys and drinks all provided by you! We truly cannot express how grateful we are to be able to have this event take place at our school and the Special Olympics even stopped by at our event! They were thrilled to see general education students and special education students having such a great time together. Thank you for all you do!”

Reading Rockets
Funded May 12, 2022Thank you so much for making our classroom a better learning environment. Books truly strengthen minds while also giving our students a way to escape and for that we are truly grateful. Your generosity is truly appreciated and know you have made a difference in the lives of many students to come who learn in Room 1.Our students are enjoying reading and that is because of you! Our new library is filled with awesome stories of adventure, comedy and thrills! We currently have a classroom of all boys so the sports and action books are being read daily. The classroom looks a lot more vibrant and organized since the books purchased are in sets. This has sparked students to go to the library throughout breaks and look for books in their own time. Reading is such a valuable tool for a students overall academic progress so know you have helped grow a students future for the positive. Room 1 is grateful for your donations and we appreciate you tremendously.”

Funded May 3, 2022We are now able to have so much fun cooking outside because of you! Our students are loving learning how to cook new things while practicing their fine motor skills. Using tools such as a spatula and tongs may seem easy for some but for our students it is a task that can seem daunting. They are up to the challenge when it comes to learning how to cook and they are loving eating all of the food that they have worked so hard on. Our school now has a fun place to relax and just spend time socializing around the BBQ. Thank you yet again from being so generous!”

Funded Mar 27, 2022What a fun carnival we had! Your generosity allowed for 60 students to have the best time playing fun games such as: a balloon pop game, bean bag toss, ladder ball toss, basketball shots, knock down cans and so much more. All of our special education students had smiles and were laughing every time they completed a game with their general education peers. The general education students loved spending time just socializing with everyone and the prize table was such a success because of your generosity and for that we are grateful!”

Hands-on Help
Funded Mar 6, 2022These materials have truly helped our classroom function and have made the lessons a lot more engaging for our students who need visual supports. The unit based lessons has helped keep our classroom organized and the puzzles are allowing the students who need manipulatives to learn new things. Our classroom has become a more inclusive environment and we are watching our students grow in their socialization skills because they are playing fun academic games together. We truly appreciate the impact you have made on all of our students. Thank you!”
