I am a first-year teacher, and I am so blessed to have the best group of students for my first official classroom of my own. I work at Title I school. I have 28 students who come from all different ethnic and economic backgrounds. A majority of my students come from low income families, and some do not receive support at home when it comes to school. My school does not have the funds either to give me support to make my classroom all that my students deserve. I want my students to have a warm and comfortable environment where they can learn, grow, and feel supported in all aspects of life. I am hoping that, as their teacher, I am able to be that constant support for each one of my students. The carpet, book center and chairs will help add to my classroom to make it comfortable and accessible for all students. All these supplies would be a wonderful donation to our classroom, and my students and I would be more than grateful for anything. Thank you for your time and generosity.
