Through this hands-on project, students designed and bound personalized books that reflect their unique career journeys, aspirations, and discoveries. These books showcase each student's insights and ambitions while fostering a sense of pride in their work.

    By engaging in this process, students deepened their career awareness and gained confidence in sharing their experiences. This project encouraged self-reflection and highlighted the diverse perspectives within our classroom, ensuring that every student's voice is heard and celebrated.”

  • Community Showcase: It's a Celebration

    Our End-of-Unit Showcase and Wall of Fame, what a memorable event. Scholars proudly presented their journalism projects, sharing the career stories of community members. With donor support, we created a welcoming space; students, staff, and community members came together to celebrate their hard work.

    The event fostered school pride, strengthened community connections, and provided students with a platform to showcase their storytelling skills. Our celebration continues to impact others as students pause to examine their peers' work while moving through the corridors, keeping the celebration and learning alive beyond the event.”
