Show and Tell
Funded Mar 26, 2021We are so thankful for your contributions throughout the years. We are excited to use our very own 3d printer. Thank you for your generosity. Our students helped us to build the printer step by step and we appreciate that you took the time to think about our classroom. We are looking forward to building a better future for our students. This project will help students who struggle with fine motor functioning such as holding a pencil/pen to write. The 3d pens will help students create and show their learning.”

Funded Feb 24, 2021We are so grateful that you took your time to support our classroom. Our students have been able to use the masks provided. Our students are super happy to receive the items.
They loved the colorful masks. Some of the students are very creative and will be using the pencils to draw projects. We started using our touchless hand soap dispenser.
Our next step/ project is to create resources for students to build 3D items for show and tell. We are diving into Depth of Knowledge 4 to create and demonstrate what we have learned. In this project we hope to create a culminating event of all the work we have done all year. Some cannot write and have poor motor skills so this will be a great opportunity to give them more access to learning.”

Our reading and writing corner is set up and already in use. students are practicing to learn words and to write. Students are excited to use the new material and it has been effective in creating a better learning experience. Our staff is so grateful. We would not have been able to do it without your support. We have attached photos to show how students have been using the items. Please continue to support other teachers like myself. We need more people like you!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Its with great pleasure, Class Y06 thanks you for your donation. Our students have been able to work independently and in groups using the donations we received. They were able to use pictures and analyze them to answer questions. Students were very excited when they received the chrome book and computer. They are learning to share the items as needed. Students now participate in rethink activities and other educational resources online such as ST Math and math games.
To see students complete work in order to use the items makes me excited because it shows that we have gotten their interest and they are willing to work hard to enjoy the benefits of the different gifts we received. This is the start of something new for my students as they are using the chromebooks as positive reinforcers and show progress in behavior in order to use them during class.”

Funded Mar 30, 2017You made those smiles possible. When one of my students saw the cash register he was so excited that he made it his own positive reinforcement. He now does work in order to use the cash register in the afternoons. This is a student that hates math. He struggles with counting and even using a calculator. He uses this register without recognizing that he is performing math calculations. He loves it and I know his calculating skills will grow because of this machine.
One of my nonverbal students has difficulty recognizing letters and now she is able to use the sight word match puzzle to create words. She is working on identifying upper and lower case letters and finding them on her AAC device using the puzzle.
All my students are learning in a more diverse ways using these items. We want to thank you again. for your support and great attitude towards educating our students.”
