  • Capturing Memories

    The cameras provided to the students has increased participation in students wanting to take pictures so much so that they want more cameras at each campus. We have had photo contests, photo scavenger hunts, and different school activities that students have taken creative pictures for our Literary Magazine.

    As soon as students heard we had a "campus camera", members from other clubs wanted to know if they could borrow the camera to showcase their activities. This has increased participation in Literary Magazine since the use of the camera is limited (but not really) to is club.

    The camera is capturing so many special moments that we are looking forward to our end of year Literary Magazine.”

  • Mentees Meet Your Mentors

    Your donations for our Mentees Meet Your Mentors day helped make the day a huge success. This is the day where the two grade levels get to meet and by the end of the day the Juniors fill out a survey regarding what they would like to Mentor and let us know who they felt would best fit that role. This mentorship fosters a bond as Juniors gain valuable insights.

    The interactions of the day provide Juniors and Seniors with opportunities to get to know each other and build rapport. They built a tower with items given. They participated in Speed Friending where they got to ask each other questions. They played games that promoted teamwork and had fun while doing so.

    They are all looking forward to our next Mentor/Mentee Event.”
