Funded May 6, 2020Virtual education has become the new norm. As students switch from virtual to in class instruction the Apple Mini Pad has been invaluable. This educator has been able to monitor student work, zoom with kids for more specialized teaching, and have access to a multitude of virtual apps such as flip chart, google classroom, and near pod instruction at our finger tips.
The students have been able to access our online subscription of scholastics news, library, and our classroom work through or TEAMS app to submit work. They have been able to create learning boards for science fair projects virtually. Virtual learning has moved our class to a new level of learning.
Thank you so much for making the virtual access to all in the class exciting. We are truly grateful to all who contributed to our access to the virtual world.”

Funded Nov 23, 2019We are so grateful for all those donors that contributed to our STEAM project.
Our STEAM lessons make so much more sense now that we can do more with the materials. The connections being made between text and hands-on is just amazing.
AS you can SEE, the kids were so excited when the shipment was received, and words can not describe their excitement as they opened the boxes. They are enjoying building, using the magnets, math dots, etc. Please continue to follow us so you may see all the fun activities being done
Thank you for believing in public education, and it really does take each of us to educate our kids.”

Funded Jan 9, 2019Thank you so much for the donations. These items have made such a wonderful impact in the classroom. The kids were so happy to receive these donations that you can see from their facial expression how happy they were to receive all the requested items. They love creating and working together and writing on the chart paper to prove their point. The computers are still shared, but it has allowed the student to take ownership of their learning.
WE hope you continue to follow us, so you can see how the donated items have made such a great impact in education, and most of all we are so grateful you have made learning FUN again. We really appreciate your generosity and contributions to our future leaders.”

Please Help Me Stay Connected With The World!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you to all the donors who helped to fund our project! The kids were so excited to receive the boxes with our new computers and headphones. They will now have access to the learning programs used at our school to help them improve their reading, math, and science skills.
They can, also, now monitor their ongoing growth, use their computers to sharpen their technological skills, and have programs available to them as needed. As you can see from their pictures, it was one of our "BEST DAYS EVER" to be connected to the world of technology! Public schools are so lucky to have donors like of you, who still believe and support a free education for all. We are truly grateful for your continued support in our educational goals.”

Funded Dec 20, 2017We are in receipt of our wonderful materials, and we are so grateful to all the donors who allowed this project to become a reality for our classroom.
The students have embraced the computer with so much joy. They are using it to connect to on-line resources, in conjunction, with their Scholastic Magazines. What a great surprise it was to have it arrive right after our winter break. Navigating the computer has been a great hands-on-experience. It has enriched the learning in the classroom, and the kids have found endless possibilities in finding resources for class activities and for upcoming projects.
The "BLUE" headphones was an "instant" hit with the students because it has allowed them to choose different characters to snap on the headphones and make them their own. These headphones have allowed students to become more focused when working on their technology programs during computer time in the library and occasionally in the class with borrowed computers. One of the kids stated, "we have the coolest headphones in our entire school".
We just received our Scholastic News! The students are in love with the current events told by kids reporters. This has enriched the students learning, and will definitely make a tremendous impact with reading that will connect them to the world. They have just read about the upcoming Olympics and are now excited anticipating the Opening Ceremony.
Thank you for helping me make a positive impact in the educational lives our the students.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Angulo
