  • Let's Make Some Noise!

    Having more indestructible headphones for our Kindergarten students is going to make a huge impact on their time in our computer lab. We've continued to replace them throughout the year but they've been breaking easily. Having these headphones will help ensure we can have them a longer time and to keep students focused on their work while small group instruction is happening.”

  • Imagination Stations!

    Thank you immensely for your generous contribution to our school's Learning Lab space! Having developmental play stations has had such an impact on students - our 1st grade and Kindergarten students absolutely love having time to use their imagination and play with one another.

    It has greatly improved their SEL skills - sharing and teamwork are a big part of their time in the Learning Lab now. Students have also shown responsibility by ensuring that they take care of the new items and put them back where they belong.

  • Multicultural Library For English Language Learners

    Tomorrow I embark on the second half of the school year and could not be more grateful to have a literary foundation to go off of. My students have loved seeing their language, culture, and families reflected in our stories. We did a lesson the Librarian of Basra that was a particularly big hit as we discussed the value of books and the importance of bravery and standing up for what you believe in. They were also excited to hear that these books came from different folks from all over the country. It gave them a sense of pride knowing that people believe in them and what we are doing to build them up as bilingual superheroes as I called them. Thank you is not enough!”

We are requesting durable, kid-sized headphones for Chromebooks in school. My students use their computers daily in my classroom during centers in our Learning Lab. My school is great that it provides some headphone at the start of the year. However, these headphone are not built to last and students need the option to have headphones at home. These color coded headphones would be distributed by grade in the Learning Lab so we can better track them and have for in school use - then students can take their initial headphones home or travel to different classes.
