• Keep Us Warm With Hats and Gloves

  Thank you for donating hats and gloves to my preschool students. This donation had a huge impact on my students. For preschool kids who are still developing their understanding of the world and their place within it, these seemingly simple items made a significant difference in their daily experiences. One of the most immediate and tangible benefits of providing these warm hats and gloves is the enhancement of physical comfort. On cold days each child had a warm hat and gloves, to protect them from the cold, which is crucial during the winter months. This protection against the elements not only keeps them warm but also helped to prevent illnesses such as colds and flu.”

• The Big Comfy Couch

  Thank you for your donation of the comfy couch. The addition of a comfy couch to a classroom has contributed significantly to my students' emotional well-being. The couch provides a more relaxed and inviting space, which has created an atmosphere where students feel more at ease and valued. This subtle shift has helped reduce stress and anxiety as when my students feel comfortable, they are more likely to open up, engage in discussions, and participate actively in their learning experiences with each other.”

• Bilingual Books for English Language Learners!

  Thank you for your generosity towards this special and important project. My students are bilingual language learners and they love listening to books in both English and in their native language, Spanish. These books provide countless opportunities for my young learners to learn new vocabulary each day. Students borrow these books on a rotational basis which allows adults at home to read to them as well. This helps families who do not read in English engage in reading together at home. We cannot thank you enough for your generous donation that helps my current and countless future students!”

• Diverse Dolls That Look Like Me!

  My students absolutely love the diverse dolls! Each child has gravitated towards a doll that resembles themself. Children have created families with the dolls that resemble themselves and their very own families. One child was heard saying "My mommy has dark skin but my dad has light skin these look like them" while another child said "I have a baby brother and a big sister, these two look like them and this one is me, see I have curly hair like this doll". I thank you for providing my students with dolls that support their social/emotional learning and identities through meaningful play.”

• Rest & Sleep with Comfort

  Thank you for supporting this project. These sheets have come in handy so many times this school year. Parents often forget to send in clean sheets for their child to rest on and when they do we are so glad to have these sheets on hand. We're also able to provide sheets for children whose families can not afford to do so themselves. The sheets are soft and fit our resting mats perfectly. They are easy for the students to put on and take off independently which makes the students feel so proud when they can do this themselves. Thank you for your generosity!”
