I am on the co-teaching, special education team for our grade so we serve many students who have ADHD or ADD along with learning disabilities, behavior disorders, and Autism. Along with these students, I also have several students tiered in Response to Intervention based on academic deficits or behavioral issues. Our class also includes English Language Learners and students with 504 plans. All of that mentioned above directly correlates with the children's learning, but so does the low income status or broken homes that our students come from. With all that being said, I truly believe I have the best group of students in our grade. They are caring, hard-working, and very dependable when we need help around the classroom. I could not ask for a better group of students. I believe they deserve the best resources I can provide them with to help them be successful and not fall further behind in school.
