Practicing Statistics Like Scholars: Texts to Support Student Learning

We're a couple months in to the new school year and working our way through the amazing textbooks you helped donate! These AP aligned textbooks provide students with readings, examples, practice problems, and even linked videos to improve their practice inside and outside of the classroom.

Your donation meant that every single one of my students has their own copy of the textbook to take home each night to use to study, practice, and dive deeper into the material. Using this text as an anchor for our class helps create a cohesive learning experience from school to home. At school we can further explore an example begun in the reading the night before. At home, students can practice AP style questions that up the rigor from the day's lesson.

One student particularly said, "Once I started really using my textbook as a resource to learn from, not just to memorize, my understanding in class improved dramatically." So many kids tell me how helpful it is to have the time at home to explore topics further and get lots of intense practice.
