  • Latin Ensemble

    Funded Aug 14, 2022

    I want to thank you for your donation. This was our first year implementing a Latin Music Ensemble at our school and without your donation it would not have been possible. One of our percussionists has been playing on the timbales in the group and the authenticity this instruments brings to the sound is unmatched. Both the timbales and cajon have been used in other settings. This has given many students the chance to connect with their culture, but has also allowed students who do not identify as latino/latine/latinx a chance to explore music outside of their cultural background.”
