I am finally getting my own classroom this year after being "mobile" (moving from classroom to classroom)! My students and I produce a lot of our classroom resources which are regularly displayed around the room/school. I have found that the best products for this include the post-it poster paper, blue tape, and Mr. Sketch markers (which seem to outlast other brands). I run a Project GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) classroom, which is an awesome approach to teach content and language simultaneously. It is, however, very dependent on materials and teacher-made resources. The constant cost of post-it paper, markers, tape etc add up quickly during the year. I also need some organization items (file holders for student work portfolios) and a mobile whiteboard that can move around the room for small group instruction and stations.
