Let's Get Digital!
Funded Nov 28, 2020We greatly appreciate your generosity and support during these uncertain times! The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card really provided me support with planning interactive and engaging lessons, as well as additional resources for my students to have at home. In a virtual world, this gift card made activities accessible to students learning remotely and made virtual classes more exciting and fun! In addition, we were able to support other teachers who spend hours creating these amazing resources. Overall, I am so grateful for people like you that care about education, teachers, and students!"”

Funded Nov 9, 2020My students and I are so grateful for your generosity and support! I was pleasantly surprised to see how fast this project was funded and that is all thanks to you!
I personally went and delivered the school supplies to my students (safely and socially distanced, of course). It was amazing to see their reactions! They were so excited and their eyes lit up when they saw the bag of school supplies especially for them to use when learning from home.
This would have never happened without your help. Thank you so much for caring about my students and their needs while learning from home. The supplies helped immensely during virtual learning. It gave them a sense of normalcy and motivation! My students now have access to materials they would typically use in school. I cannot express how appreciative my students, their parents, and I are!”

Funded Jan 17, 2020Thank you for your generosity and support!
My students were so excited to see these new materials and it gave them the motivation they needed! When we were in school, my students loved using the whiteboard, erasable sentence strips, magnetic letters, and lined paper during small group lessons. My students felt confident using these hands-on materials to participate in small group!
The magnetic letters helped my students who struggled with forming letters. It helped them get their thoughts down first before having to write. It also helped my students with learning their sight words. The erasable sentence strips made writing even more fun! I was also able to model writing on my small whiteboard easel which fit perfectly on our small group table!
Thank you again for your impact & for supporting young readers and writers!”

Funded Dec 4, 2019We really appreciate your generosity! Our students love playing with the Osmo Numbers and Words, as well as using the apple pencil as a writing tool for the iPad! During Centers, they use the Osmo to practice skills we learned in class, as well as work on skills they need improvement in. Our students were so excited to gain a math and literacy component for our Osmo! Not only does it supports their academic skills, it helps them with working together as team to complete tasks.
In our classroom, our goal is make learning engaging and meaningful and this aids in our mission to do so! Math and Spelling aren't boring when you're playing games! This especially helps motivate learners who struggle in traditional learning environments. Creating opportunities for hands-on learning helps them in more ways than you can imagine!
We love that it is differentiated and we can change the level depending on the student! Thank you again for making my centers more accessible to all my students and their abilities. Our students loved that they could express their gratitude in their thank you cards, we hope you enjoy reading them!”

Funded Nov 1, 2019The students absolutely love using the iPads! This was just the boost they needed! Using the iPads has encouraged collaboration, team work, and focus amongst my students. They work together to build letters, explore stories on Osmo, read sight words, and various learning activities that the iPad makes accessible.
Students use the iPads and Osmo after small group instruction as positive reinforcement and as a learning tool. They also use Osmo to add play into instruction time. They are SO thrilled that they get to "play" in class. With Osmo learning comes to life!
Thank you again for funding my first project and for believing in the power of a good education! "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."- Nelson Mandela”
