With young minds and engaging personalities, my students are full of potential. Youth Change Workshop Posters, Wall Mounted Hanging Organizer, and Dry Erase Monthly Calendar would support our class by helping to create an organized space of encouragement. The Visible Learning for Literacy would offer supportive educational materials to extend the teaching strategies to actively engage students in reading strategies. In addition, the colored overlays and guided reading strips would help some students struggling with reading to focus in on specific text. Students are beginning to put forth some honest effort, but we have been frustrated by some of the limitations of classroom organization and resources. Having organized space for students to get supplies and return papers will help with classroom procedures.
Teenage bodies tall, short, thick, and thin standing in front of the classroom without an anchor for presentations makes everyone just a bit uncomfortable. Without a podium, students try to hold heavy literature books or notes during the presentation. Having a podium would offer a great way to help polish presentations.
