These LEGO sets and creative box will allow students to develop their social skills in a collaborative environment, all while having fun! How does this work? Simple: students are assigned roles that facilitate collaboration and foster creativity, with the objective of creating a LEGO construction as a team. I use a research-based method to teach Social Skills for neuroatypical students using collaborative LEGO building to develop positive social interactions and practice mental flexibility. This is a data-proven LEGO club designed to increase participation and buy-in for social skills development, create a positive relationship within the classroom, and promote the development of self-advocacy, social competence, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, team-building and teamwork skills, and many other positive social behaviors and skills.
