We are a dual language kindergarten program with 48 students who learn in English and Spanish. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to figure out ways to improve hygiene habits so we can stay healthy while we learn at school. Keeping our water bottles, lunch boxes, and coats separate has helped us a lot. We have been using a set of cheap shelves to keep students belongings separate since we returned to campus, but they are showing a lot of wear and tear and will not hold up very well for the rest of the year or for future classes. Having high quality, durable cubbies will help this class and future classes maintain personal belongings separate to keep germs away and improve hygiene habits so we can stay healthy and continue to learn on campus.
