These materials will allow my students to explore the different food groups as well as practice some life skills. Students will be able to set a table, sort grocery items, “cook” groceries, etc. in order to effectively prepare them for life after high school. These skills can be used both for independent living or working at an establishment that handles food. By donating, you are shaping and assisting to prepare for these students for life after high school. It is essential for all students especially students of disabilities to establish self independence versus dependence.
