One Full-Length Mirror for Performing Arts Conservatory
Funded Nov 30, 2018Thank you for funding a full-length mirror for our classroom. The mirror will help my students during Integrated Art classes to practice different skills that are essential for their performances.
The Integrated Art Room helps students to amalgamate distinctive skills from main performing subjects areas, which will make a big improvement in students' performances. The mirror will provide immediate feedback so students can correct or improve upon the skills they need for given performances, whether in the classroom, on the stage, or within their community.
Your gift will affect our students for a long time. Groups of different students will use the room from year to year and will be very appreciative to your contribution. In that way you have provided a tool that will serve our school for many year to come.
Thank you again for your generosity.”

Tools for Integrated Art Instruction
Funded Oct 31, 2018We are thrilled to have received our first portable kit for Integrated Art classroom activities. Your gift allowed us to create mobile stations for our students. These adaptive tools create many opportunities for our students to explore, experiment, and learn.
Moreover, these adaptive tools are used during many other Integrated Art projects. We developed several mini lessons where children from our various grades levels can also learn through hands on activities by using this unique portable kit to implement their knowledge of their lesson areas, as well as to create self-expressed art commensurate with their grade level expectation. We were able to progressively reinforce lesson objectives as students learned to sort objects, draw, recognize geometric shapes, differentiate sounds, and ultimately express themselves.
One of the examples was during the "Shapes in Art" lesson. Initially, our students reviewed hypothetical concepts of the subject, then experimented with the kit, and were able to express their knowledge through creating temporary art pieces. In addition to that, this applied knowledge exercise provided our students with a deeper understanding of the geometrical concepts and created a foundation for greater understanding in future follow-on lessons. Furthermore, this kit helped them to focus on developing knowledge of and excitement for STEM subjects through the use of visual art tools.
We foresee many years of using from this integrated art kit, so we believe you have had a hand in educating several years of students at our school.
We greatly appreciate you for your gift. Thank you for everything you do to help youngsters to learn and improve.
Sincerely,
Dr. K”

This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron Fuel Your School. Two Full-Length Mirrors for Performing Arts Conservatory
Funded Jul 30, 2018Thank you again for your generosity in funding 2 mirrors for the dance room. As the delivery date approached, the anticipation built palpably. We were of course even more excited to see the boxes arrive because we knew they would make a big difference in helping students prepare for performances.
You can be proud of the legacy you have helped to establish in young artists.
I am now teaching at another school, but I am confident that the mirrors you helped fund will be used for years to come.”
