My students want to do more than just learn about names and dates in history class. They want to create and design their own projects. The supplies that I am requesting will help make my classroom a more conducive place for creativity and exploration. Throughout the year my students have researched and studied different topics of their choice, but often have been stifled due to lack of supplies. The standing desks encourage and offer students the freedom to work and move freely, between each other and different classroom resources. The markers, crayons, and colored pencils, and posters will give my students the resources needed to show what they have lived in different and alternative ways. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The supplies that have been selected were all part of my students' wish list. They wanted the large calendar to keep track of project due dates and check-ins. My students are so excited to begin creating and just need your help to do so!
