I have approximately 36 students in each of my science classes. My students are very diverse and I want to provide them with the most enriching scientific experience possible. The students work best when they can experience and perform activities during science. Science is more meaningful when students are active participants. Density is a challenging concept to teach because it involves a mathematics component. Density will be better understood when students can easily see the comparisons of matter.
