Fuel and Flourish: Essential Snacks and Hygiene for Middle Schoolers
Funded Aug 1, 2024We cannot thank you enough for your support in fully funding Fuel and Flourish: Essential Snacks and Hygiene for Middle Schoolers. Your generosity has provided my students with the basic necessities that many of them often go without—healthy snacks to keep them focused and hygiene essentials to help them feel confident and prepared for the school day. When my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with relief and gratitude. Many expressed how much it meant to them to have access to these supplies without having to ask or worry. This project has not only met their physical needs but has also fostered a sense of care and community within our classroom.
The impact of this project goes beyond simply providing snacks and hygiene items—it has created a more supportive and equitable learning environment. Students who used to struggle with hunger or self-consciousness are now better able to focus on their studies and engage in class without distractions. The availability of these resources has also sparked important conversations about self-care and wellness, reinforcing the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being. As we move forward, my students will continue benefiting from these essentials, allowing them to flourish academically and personally. Thank you for making a lasting difference in their lives—you are truly helping them succeed in more ways than you can imagine!”

Funded Aug 1, 2024Thank you for your incredible generosity in fully funding Empower Young Minds: Equip Our Middle Schoolers for Success. Because of your support, my students now have access to essential resources that enhance their learning experience and deepen their understanding of key concepts. When they first saw the new materials, their excitement was undeniable—they eagerly explored each item, immediately engaging with the tools that would help them succeed. These resources have transformed our classroom into a more interactive and student-centered environment, where hands-on learning and critical thinking are at the forefront.
One of the most impactful moments so far has been during our recent STEM Water Conservation project. With the new materials, students were able to conduct investigations, analyze data, and propose real-world solutions to address Atlanta's ongoing water issues. Watching them collaborate, problem-solve, and apply their learning in meaningful ways has been inspiring. As we move forward, my students will continue using these resources for upcoming science explorations, leadership projects, and problem-based learning activities. Your generosity has created a lasting impact, empowering them with the tools and confidence to think critically and innovate for the future. Thank you for making a difference in their educational journey!”

Funded Dec 30, 2024We are incredibly grateful for your support in fully funding my project, Empowering Student Government Leaders: Inspire, Innovate, and Share Their Vision. Because of your generosity, my middle school students have had the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills, engage in meaningful discussions about governance, and take ownership of their roles as student leaders. The impact of this project has been transformative. Students who were once hesitant to step forward now confidently articulate their ideas, advocate for their peers, and work together to make a difference in our school community. Funded Oct 30, 2015We cannot thank you enough for your immense generosity in funding our classroom project! The center activities, tablets, and student supplies have made a very positive impact on our classroom instruction and learning. Students are developing into strong readers and writers daily.
With your help, our students have further developed their concepts about print and concepts about books; they have learned that speech can be segmented into small units of sound and are learning how to play with language by rhyming, segmenting, and blending words. Our students are also developing both a rich vocabulary and a deep understanding of many concepts and language structures which has given them purpose for reading and the desire to read. With the use of our tablets, students enjoy being read to and are able to listen to and understand stories and various informational books. The tablets and technology has enriched our learning environment in becoming fun and engaging. Through your support, our students now see themselves as readers and writers and have a zeal to learn!
Again, thank you for donation and motivating our young learners!”

Dr. Redmond
