Experts suggest there are many factors that cause students with disabilities and other at-risk students to be discouraged from pursuing science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) majors and careers; the most serious being few opportunities for exploration in the STEAM professions. Many STEAM programs unintentionally exclude some of our more vulnerable students. Our students will be able to use the Makey Makey circuit kit to explore and create sustainable and transformative solutions for real-world problems in a learning environment that is inclusive and supportive of all learners. The laminator and display tower will allow them to publish their work.
