My students have big dreams. Most of them want to be doctors, nurses, surgeons, and therapists. My role is to help them achieve success in their very first college classes while they are still in high school. Our high school is truly the best in the land! However, the students at CHS have the lowest average socioeconomic status of the ten high schools in our district, and our ethnic diversity is the richest. Adding all of this up means that there is often a large gap between my students' dreams and their current academic abilities as juniors and seniors in high school. I help my students bridge this gap by using the very best practices and tools available within my budget to enable them to learn more than they think is possible and build their confidence. You can help our future health care professionals achieve their dreams and expand their abilities by providing tools to them that are beyond our current budget.
