  • 3D Printing

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

We are so excited to have 2 new 3-D printers. They have helped cut down the time needed for printing. One project the other day would have taken two hours to print, but on the new printers, that time was cut in half thanks to input shaper software.

We can print projects faster so students are not waiting for more than just a day for their prints. It has helped save material as well. Science teachers were excited to get the rocket boosters printed which was a test file that came with the printers. These new printers will last a long time and bring tons of designs to life.”

  • Proven Methods

    Funded Aug 26, 2022

We are able to get a fun project for Halloween where students had to introduce a monster that lived at "17 Murray Lane" and how someone met the monster. They had a lot of fun writing and using descriptive language to set the setting. They really got into it. They were able to add dialogue as well. I am excited to see how their writing progress this year. I was also able to download a math review that we can use as well. I need to go through it still and see if it is just best for the end of the year or maybe at the end of each concept. Thanks for giving us the ability to use tried and true projects that other teachers have made that work to teach.”

  • Tools for Learning

    Funded Jan 23, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. The students were so excited to have all kinds of games to play during inside recess. There have been several cold days where we had to stay in already.

Having headphones for the whole class. Hopefully, we will never have a broken cord again as they are USB and much sturdier.

Having mirrors has helped so students can see the placement of their mouths when making different sounds. The letter tiles have also been so valuable for students to have hands-on items tool for working on phonics and spelling.”

  • The Countdown

    Funded Feb 14, 2022

It has been a lot of fun having the timer in the class. No longer am I asked what time is it ever. We can use it both as a countdown and timer which is helpful. We can even see what the temperature is in the classroom

The students can see how much time is left when we do a timed test. They have also figured out at what time on the clock the bell will ring at the end of the day and countdown till it rings.

Once again that you for helping fund this project. It means so much that there are donors like you who are willing to help our class.”

  • I Can Make It!

    Funded Dec 10, 2021

Thank you so much for helping out class get more 3D printing filament. It is fun to have lots of colors for the students to choose from and for the multicolor filament especially.

Students really enjoyed making their own bookmarks that they could keep and had a great time making Christmas ornaments for parents.

We have also been busy printing prizes for the school store. We made a bunch of pencil toppers that students can buy with their reward money for being great in school. We look forward to an awesome year printing.”

  • Buttons for Goals

    Funded May 16, 2021

It has been really fun to see the students' motivation improve to try to get as many pins as they can by working harder on their facts for addition and subtraction. Working on times tables and division facts. We have most that have over 20 states memorized now. They really want the large 50 state pin to add to their collection. Thank you for your support and for getting my students excited about learning this year. The kids were so excited about the boxes and wondered what was inside. I don't think they could have predicted what fun we have had.”

  • Can Plants Grow Without Soil?

    Funded Jan 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations it was wonderful to see our project fully funded. We had a brand new science core this year and wanted a hands-on way to show students that plants do not get their matter from the soil. What better way than by buying hydroponics kits. Plants really only need air, water, and nutrients. We were able to get one for each classroom. The students were so excited to pick what seeds their group would grow. Every day they wanted to see if their seed started to grow yet. Some seeds did well. Thanks for many fun years of growing plants.”

  • If You Can Think It, You Can Print It.

    Funded Oct 30, 2019

Thank you so much for helping out class get a new 3d printer. It is quiet enough that we can use it in the classroom without it disrupting us too much. It is just too awesome to not watch.

  • Print Your Imagination

    Funded Jan 30, 2019

My students have had so much making bookmarks using Tinkercad. They are so creative. There is nothing cooler than designing something and then being able to hold that item in their hands. No longer do they just have to use a piece of paper. They have something personal to them. They are going to help teach other 5th grade classes how to do it, to break up end of year testing. It was fun to have a project that broke up the monotony of getting ready for testing. Thanks again so much, they are never going to forget 5th grade.”
