Hey family and friends! Your support is needed! Please help me provide IMMEDIATE intervention and differentiated instruction to my at - risk students as they prepare to take their Standards of Learning Exams. All of my students receive free lunch and due to their socio-economic status, they are not able to come to class with the basic supplies needed to succeed in mathematics courses. Studies have shown that the use of interactive notebooks with at-risk students allows the them to take ownership of their learning, increases their retention of the material presented by allowing them to synthesize their thoughts and build processes and structures using their own individual learning styles. George Evans said "Anyone can learn. Just not on the day, or in the same way!" Help me give my students a new way to learn!
