My students need a place where we can move around the classroom freely and learn in the way that is best for them. I believe having a rolling cart and floor seats will be wonderful for my students. Using the Using the Classic Royal Reading Writing Center we can work anywhere in the room and students can be comfortable. I have found that students learn better when they can choose where they get to sit (or even lay!) to do their work.
My students' families struggle to provide the supplies needed for school. We need as many basic supplies as possible to lessen this strain on families. Students in my class need everything from pencils to glue sticks to paper. Additionally, I make many activities, centers, and individualized instructional tools for my students. I use colorful paper to make our classroom as bright, warm and engaging as possible for my exceptional learners.
