I provide Math intervention to students in grades TK-5 who need extra support to keep up with grade-level mathematics. My classroom is a safe space where struggling learners transform into confident mathematicians through hands-on activities and personalized attention. In addition, I frequently organize math activities which benefit all students in the lower grade classes. Each day, I work with small groups of students who face various challenges in math. Some struggle with number recognition, others with quantity relationships and place value concepts. Through various activities, including games with specially designed 3D-printed Math Domino sets, I help bridge these gaps. The photo shows students using custom-made domino cards designed for their needs. When a struggling first grader exclaims, "Oh! Five and three makes eight - look!" that's when we know these tools work.
