• STEM Photos (Part 2)

  Thank you so much for funding our project for the photobooth for the FLL teams that are attending our event. We are very grateful for the opportunity to give each of these teams a souvenir to take home with them and that they are able to remember the day with these photos. Our robotics team has a wall of photos and we love having them after our events. This is a wonderful way for the students to remember the day, their teammates, and the exciting day of competition. • STEM Photos

  The Mechanical Mustangs attend a lot of events. Hands-down, our favorite local event is our School 9 STEM night! We have such an amazing time and they are themed so well. This year was SPACE and we had a fantastic time. We are looking forward to next year which will be super hero! Our photobooth was amazing and we are so grateful for your support so we were able to give every student a take home photo strip. There were so many tables and lots of gifts and prizes for the students. It is always amazing when we are able to share our robot with the younger generation and we inspire students to look into science and engineering! Thank you to our wonderful donors and we are so grateful you chose our project out of the thousands here on DonorsChoose!”

• Snacks Just Like Grandma Made

  Season is in full swing and everyday afterschool our students are excited to find out what our 3pm snack is going to be. Some days we are able to get something like pancakes or nachos from a sponsor, but most days we are using our supply of snacks from wonderful donors like you. Thank you so much for all of these cookies. The students really love them and they are so excited when I say it's a grandma's cookies day. We are learning a lot and working hard as a team and these snacks are perfect to give them energy for the rest of the evening. Thank you!”

  We are so excited to begin the Charged Up season. We are looking forward to finding out about the game and to start working on the design, fabrication, and strategy. We have a fantastic group of 25 students that are excited to travel around the country and compete. As a team, we have had over 150 students become professional engineers and can't wait to see the next graduating class and their accomplishments. • Fall 2022 Community Service Events: Mechanical Mustangs Robotics Team

  We had such a wonderful set of STEM events. The Mechanical Mustang Robotics Team was able to work with students from all of our elementary schools and they were able to drive the robot! It was amazing and they had a wonderful time. We were able to give out so many amazing prizes and the students had such a wonderful time. It is so fantastic to have our young people mentor the younger generation and to be able to inspire them to become scientists and engineers. We are so grateful for your support and your ability to help us help these young people learn about engineering.”

• Make Sure We Can Hear the Robots!

  Funded Oct 17, 2022

  This microphone is such a wonderful resource for us this season. We were able to walk around the gymnasium during our tournament, give live game play, and have an exciting day. Many teams were able to speak during the event into the microphone and I was personally able to wear the battery pack microphone during the day. We had 44 teams who attended and gave out 20 different awards. There were over 1,000 people in attendance and this was an extremely exciting day.
