The pencils will help my students that struggle financially by giving me the ability to provide them with their basic school needs. Many come empty handed daily.
The differentiated Versatiles math and literacy workbooks for 3rd through 6th grade will make learning fun and will allow for more individualized instruction in comprehension, fluency, grammar and mechanics, as well as math at the individual level the student is working on for their IEP goals.
Many come to class stressed out or frustrated because the work is too hard. Several of my students struggle to focus for long periods of time due to having ADHD and/or anxiety. Being able to give them fidget items like the ones ordered, and teaching them coping skills and how to use the items appropriately will help lessen the frustrations they experience and engage in class as well as remain focused.
