This school year, I am teaching Algebra 1 to 90 future college students .The students have surpassed the meaning of our school quote "If there is no struggle, there is no progress". These young adults have so much potential. It affects me knowing that they can't get the education they deserve due to the lack of supplies. As our school doesn't have a lot of funding, the students have to share most of the supplies we get used from the previous class . Almost all of my students are minorities , and as a teacher , and a mother I can't see a family struggling. In addition , for some of them, this is their Senior year of middle school , as it can be fun at times, it is very pricey to attend most of the activities the school has to offer for our upcoming 9th graders. My students are hardworking individuals who go above and beyond to get high grades. There will be so much more they can do with supplies they need .
