My class is comprised of 24 6-, 7-, and 8-year-olds who come from all over San Diego County to attend our amazing charter school. The cornerstone of education at our school and in my classroom revolves around hands-on, student-centered projects. We are a group of life-long learners who are critical thinkers, passionate individuals, and creative community members. We love to explore, construct knowledge, and share what we've learned with our families, school, and community. We come from every culture, every socio-economic background, and every community represented in San Diego County. We are 1st and 2nd graders who do our own research, writing, and create amazing presentations. We are becoming increasingly independent in our abilities to do these things, but we need your help.
