• Books for Dolphins!

  Your donations helped us add over 25 books to our library collection that were highly requested by students. Since being added, these books have circulated over 100 times, engaging some of our more reluctant readers and providing lots of joy for all who check them out.

  As a teacher, one of the best "problems" to have is a student who simply cannot put down their book. The titles we added to our library with your help are almost never put down! We cannot thank you enough.”

  Thank you so much for your donations! You helped us add over 100 titles to our library collection that were specifically requested by students.

  Students actually gasped when they saw the books arrive and they have been circulating constantly since! These titles have even inspired some of our more reluctant readers to get excited again about reading. Students who had not previously found something they wanted to read are now putting books on hold and eagerly awaiting the next book in their favorite series.

• Readying for the New Year

  For many of my students, the library offers a relaxing and calm space in what can otherwise be a stressful and busy day. This year, our lunch times have gotten especially busy with students who want to spend their time reading, relaxing with friends, creating something in our makerspace, playing games together, or working on puzzles.

  More students is the best! However, it can also mean a messier and more germ-filled library. Your donations have helped us keep the space clean and healthy so that all our students can continue to enjoy it. Thank you!”

• Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Through Books

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! Your contributions helped me add over 10 books (that have already been checked out many times!) that reflect my students' identities. Just recently, a student was looking at the title "Mexikid," which was purchased through your donations and said "that's me!" He went on to explain the similarities he had with the character and it was clear he felt seen by this book.

  Research shows that it is the critical work of a library to ensure students feel represented by the characters they encounter and your donations helped make that possible for many of my students.”

• Best Reading Party Ever

  Thank you so much for helping us build such a strong culture of reading at our school! These supplies helped get students SO excited for our reading party and have since been used multiple times to help bring joy to celebrating our readers.

  It was so fun to watch students' eyes light up as they walked into the library and saw it transformed with these materials. We made lasting memories that day as we celebrated students for their reading and I know it is something they will keep with them for a long time.”

• Hands-On Activities for the Library

• Creating A Peaceful Library For All

  Thank you for helping make our library space so comfortable for our students! Prior to this year, the library was not a space where students spent extended amounts of time. It was organized, but it wasn't an inviting space.

  Now, the library is a space where students from all grades come to relax, read, play board games, and talk to their friends. Whether it's before school, during lunch, after school, or when they need a quick moment to reset during class, students consistently name the library as a space where they feel safe and comfortable.
